Farm Equipment over turned

The Wicomico Emergency Services alerted station 3 (Fruitland) for a petrolium spill on the north bound ramp from St.Lukes Rd. Rescue Engine 302 went enroute with a crew of 6. RE 302 arrived on location, FF A.White established command, with a small farm tractor and spreader turned over off of a trailer attatched to a truck. The crew of RE 302 cleaned up roadway and assisted towing company with removing equipment from roadway by controling leaking hydrolic fluid. Once equipment was removed from roadway crews cleaned up roadway.

Other agencies on location: SHA, Fruitland PD, Wicomico Sherriffs Department, MSP, Wicomico Emergency Managment, and towing company.

  • Burn Ban BURN BAN IN EFFECT Issued by Wicomico Cnty Executive Rick Politt Fines of $500 for violations of burn ban.
