The Fruitland Volunteer Fire Company was founded in 1909. Our company currently provides fire service in Wicomico County to the Fruitland, Maryland area, which consist of about 10,000 residents. Our membership consist of about 60 volunteer firefighters, a few cadets, and a ladies auxiliary. In July of 2009, the Fruitland Volunteer Fire Company started a brand new EMS service which includes 2 ALS equipped ambulances. The EMS service runs 24 hours a day seven days a week and has 22 staff. Our goal is to strive and give our community the best possible service available.
